606-305 Vegetation Management and Conservation - Skills Gained

Vegetation Management and Conservation provides you with skills and knowledge required by land managers to successfully conserve and manage native vegetation.  At the completion of VM&C students should be able to:

• determine the structure, composition and significance of Victorian native plant communities
• identify factors that negatively impact native vegetation and recommend measures to deal with such disturbances
• develop an environmental assessment and vegetation management plan
• understand the legislative requirements and governmental structure for managing native vegetation in Victoria.
