606-305 Vegetation Management and Conservation - Excursions
To give you plenty hands on experience field excursions are a major component of Vegetation Management and Conservation. Excursion sites have been selected that cover a wide range of vegetation types, and deal with variety of management issues. Various land managers will meet us at the sites to discuss their role in relation to vegetation management and conservation issues relevant to the site.
All sites are in the greater Melbourne area so you will be expected to find your own way to and from excursions sites. All sites are accessible by public transport with details provided in the excursion handouts. On excursions you will be given a range of exercises to complete.
