The Beacon Resort, a Big Four Holiday Park, offers reasonable, economical accommodation. It is located on the Bellarine Highway at the Point Lonsdale turnoff approximately 3 kilometres from the Marine Institute Lab in Queenscliff and around 3 kilometres from the Point Lonsdale field site. Cabins and units can accommodate from 4-6 persons, although single and double cabins are available. The cost per person per night decreases if students group together. The units and cabins are BYO bedding -- i.e. pillows, towels, soap and blankets. Linen Hire is available.
