ECOL20004/90005 Flora of Victoria - Excursions

There are two excursions: Anglesea and Mt Macedon/Organ Pipes NP.

These allow students to see first hand the plant species, communities and evidence of ecological factors influencing vegetation.

At Anglesea sclerophyllous shrublands, dry forests and coastal vegetation will be seen.

At Mt Macedon we will study subalpine snow gum open forest.  On the way to Mt Macedon we also visit Organ Pipes National Park to examine grasslands species and revegetation along a riparian zone.
