Dr S. Max Richards
Chairman, Aberfoyle Ltd.
Dr Max Richards graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of New England. He then completed his PhD at the same institution before persuing a distinguished career in the mining industry.
In addition to his role as chairman of the Botany Foundation, he is currently chairman of the following institutions: Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation; Australian Minerals Industry Research Association; Advisory board of the Ian Wark Research Institute, University of South Australia. Also, he is on the board of Bligh Oil and Minerals NL.
